
Alexandra has been a genetic counsellor for over ten years working across a broad range of specialties including familial cancer, intellectual disability, prenatal, adult, and paediatric genetic counselling. She has a Master of Genetic Counselling from the University of Sydney and is a certified and registered genetic counsellor with the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA).
With a focus on empathy, clarity, and collaboration, Alexandra works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person centred, evidence based genetic counselling.
Alexandra is passionate about improving access to genetic services and empowering individuals, couples, and families with the knowledge they need to make confident choices about their health and family planning.
Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys time with her husband and two children. As a family, they love exploring the outdoors, especially camping and Geocaching adventures. When she finds a quiet moment, Alexandra also enjoys cross stitch as a creative outlet.
