Rakel Hansen
Dr Rakel Hansen is a compassionate General Paediatrician committed to delivering clear, evidence-based and family-centered care for children from infancy through adolescence.
Dr Hansen works closely with families, GPs and allied health teams to support developmental, behavioural and medical needs, prioritizing clear communication and a calm, collaborative approach.
Originally from Orange, NSW, Dr Hansen completed her medical training in Sydney at Notre Dame University. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSci), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), as well as a Graduate Diploma in Child Health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in General Paediatrics.
Outside of clinical practice, Rakel enjoys spending time with her family and her 8-year-old son; and maintains a lifelong passion for horse riding.
